# Raids - Cobblemon Islands Guide

### What Are Raids?

Raids in Cobblemon Islands are cooperative PvE (Player vs Environment) battles where players team up to defeat powerful boss Pokémon. Depending on the raid type, you can earn valuable rewards including Raid Tokens, rare items, and the opportunity to catch legendary Pokémon.

#### Why Participate in Raids?

## How to Join a Raid

Before joining any raid, make sure you have:

1. **🌟 A party of Level 90+ Pokémon** - Your Pokémon must be at least level 90 to participate
2. **🎫**[ **Legendary Catch Pass** ](#raid-passes-and-currency)- Required ONLY for Legendary Event Raids where you can catch the boss (obtainable from the server store or in-game events)
3. **🎫**[ **Special Raid Pass**](#raid-passes-and-currency) - Required ONLY for Special Event Raids where you can catch the boss (obtainable from the server store or in-game events)

#### Joining Process

1. Wait for raid announcements in the server
2. Navigate to the raid server by using `/server raids`
3. Ensure your party meets the level requirement and is not using any [ban move/ability](/features/raids/raid-ban-list.md)
4. If it's a Legendary Event Raid (catchable), have your Legendary Catch Pass ready
5. Enter the raid and battle cooperatively with other players

#### Legendary Catch Pass & Special Raid Pass

These passes are special items required to attempt catching legendary Pokémon during Legendary Event Raids, or enter special raids.

**How to Obtain:**

* 🛒 Purchase from `/sell` Find it in the "Special Items" category
