This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about Normal Raids, Legendary Raids, and Legendary Event Raids.

What Are Raids?

Raids in Cobblemon Islands are cooperative PvE (Player vs Environment) battles where players team up to defeat powerful boss Pokémon. Depending on the raid's star level, you can earn valuable rewards including Raid Tokens, Mega Stones, exclusive cosmetics, and the opportunity to catch legendary Pokémon.

Raid Star Tiers

Raids are now organized into seven star levels. Tiers 1-3 are built for players new to raiding, while tiers 4-7 are tuned for experienced raiders.

How to Join a Raid

Before joining any raid, make sure you have:

• 🌟 A raid-ready party - Bring Pokémon strong enough for the tier you're attempting. Higher tiers can no longer be one-shot in most cases.

• 🎫 Raid Pass - Required for 4 Star and above raids, where the special item rewards come into play (obtainable from the server store or in-game events)

• 🎟️ Raid Voucher - Optional, lets you start a raid outside of the normal scheduled start times

Joining Process

Wait for raid announcements

Wait for raid announcements in the server, or start one with a Raid Voucher

Navigate to the raid server

Navigate to the raid server by using /raids

Check your party

Ensure your party meets the requirements and is not using any banned move/ability

Prepare your Raid Pass

For 4 Star and above raids, have your Raid Pass ready

Enter the raid

Enter the raid and battle cooperatively with other players

⚔️ Difficulty note: Hackmon moves and abilities have been removed from all raid builds except 7 Star. In the higher tiers, lean on type advantages, debuffing moves, and smart strategy to win.

Raid Types

1-3 Star Raids

Beginner-friendly raids to learn the ropes. Levels 80-100, no Raid Pass needed!

4 Star Raids

All Mega Pokemon at Level 150, with exclusive Mega Stone and cosmetic drops.

5 Star Raids

All Sub-Legendary Pokemon at Level 175.

6 Star Raids

All Legendary Pokemon at Level 200, the toughest regular raids on the server.

7 Star Raids

Event and Mythical raids at Level 200. Weekend-only, endgame difficulty!

Special Event Raids

7 Star raids with special skins or bosses tied to this month's crate or event.

1-3 Star Raids

• Start Time: Every hour (XX:30)

• Availability: 24/7

4-6 Star Raids

• Start Time: Every hour (XX:00)

• 5-6 Star: Increased spawn chances on the weekend

7 Star Raids

• Days: Weekends

• Times: 5:15 AM, 1:15 PM, 9:15 PM (CT)

Raid Vouchers let you start raids outside of the normal scheduled start times, so you don't have to wait for the next window.

Raid Passes

Raid Pass

Raid Passes are special items required to attempt catching the boss in the higher tiers, where the exclusive item rewards come into play.

How to Obtain:

• 🛒 Purchase from the server store, or earn through in-game events

Usage:

• One pass is consumed per catch attempt

• Required for 4 Star and above raids

• NOT required for 1-3 Star raids

Raid Rewards & Drops

Raid pools have been completely revamped. Rewards vary based on the raid's star level and type:

• 🪙 Raid Tokens: Primary currency for the Raid Shop

• 💎 Rare Items: Evolution items, held items

• 🔮 Mega Stones: Mega raids have a low chance to drop their Mega Stones, including form change items for Groudon & Kyogre!

• 🎨 Mega Tool Cosmetics: Mega raids can also drop the new Mega Tool Cosmetics - 47 total to collect!

• 🎁 Exclusive Drops: Special cosmetics and skin tokens on special occasions

Shiny Rates & Golden Raids

All raids are affected by the Shiny Charm.

Standard Shiny Rates

• 1-4 Star Raids: 1/512 before Shiny Charm

• 5-7 Star Raids: 1/3072 before Shiny Charm

✨ Golden Raids

Every raid has a low chance to spawn as a Golden Raid. Golden Raids are also affected by the Shiny Charm.

• Golden 1-4 Star Raids: 1/256 before Shiny Charm

• Golden 5-7 Star Raids: 1/768 before Shiny Charm

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard are the reworked raids?

Raids have been rebalanced so that higher star tiers can no longer be one-shot in most cases. You'll need to use type advantages, debuffing moves, and solid strategy to excel in the 4 Star and above tiers. Hackmon moves and abilities have been removed from every build except 7 Star raids.

What are the star tiers and their levels?

1-3 Star raids are beginner-friendly. 4 Star raids feature all Mega Pokémon (Lv. 150), 5 Star feature Sub-Legendaries / Expedition Legendaries (Lv. 175), 6 Star feature all Legendary Pokémon (Lv. 200), and 7 Star are the new Event / Mythical raids (Lv. 200).

When do I need a Raid Pass?

A Raid Pass is required for 4 Star and above raids, where the exclusive item rewards come into play. You do not need a pass for 1-3 Star raids.

What is a Raid Voucher?

A Raid Voucher lets you start a raid outside of the normal scheduled start times. Vouchers only work when used in the Raid Realm, and are currently available in the server store, with free-to-play methods coming soon.

What is a Golden Raid?

Every raid has a low chance to spawn as a Golden Raid. Golden Raids have significantly boosted shiny odds and, like all raids, are affected by the Shiny Charm.

Can I catch the raid boss?

Yes! Every raid boss is now catchable after the raid. For 4 Star and above raids, you'll need a Raid Pass to make your catch attempt.

Do I lose my Raid Pass if I fail to catch the boss?

Yes, the Raid Pass is consumed upon attempting to catch the boss, regardless of success. Make sure to use your best Poké Balls and strategies!

Can I participate in raids without a Raid Pass?

Yes! You can participate in raids without a pass. The pass is only required if you want to attempt to catch the boss in 4 Star and above raids. You'll still receive raid rewards either way.

Where is the Raid Shop?

The Raid Shop can now only be accessed in the Raid Realm. Use /shop raid while in the Raid Realm to browse it.

How do I get Raid Tokens?

Raid Tokens are earned by participating in and completing raids. The amount varies based on raid difficulty and your contribution.
