# Raids - Cobblemon Islands Guide

## What Are Raids?

Raids in Cobblemon Islands are cooperative PvE (Player vs Environment) battles where players team up to defeat powerful boss Pokémon. Depending on the raid's star level, you can earn valuable rewards including Raid Tokens, Mega Stones, exclusive cosmetics, and the opportunity to catch legendary Pokémon.

## Raid Star Tiers

Raids are now organized into **seven star levels**. Tiers 1-3 are built for players new to raiding, while tiers 4-7 are tuned for experienced raiders.

## How to Join a Raid

Before joining any raid, make sure you have:

* **🌟 A raid-ready party** - Bring Pokémon strong enough for the tier you're attempting. Higher tiers can no longer be one-shot in most cases.
* **🎫**[ **Raid Pass**](#raid-passes-and-currency) - Required for **4 Star and above** raids, where the special item rewards come into play (obtainable from the server store or in-game events)
* **🎟️**[ **Raid Voucher**](#raid-vouchers) - Optional, lets you start a raid outside of the normal scheduled start times

## Raid Vouchers

Raid Vouchers let you start raids **outside of the normal scheduled start times**, so you don't have to wait for the next window.

## Raid Passes

#### Raid Pass

Raid Passes are special items required to attempt catching the boss in the higher tiers, where the exclusive item rewards come into play.

**How to Obtain:**

* 🛒 Purchase from the server store, or earn through in-game events

* One pass is consumed per catch attempt
* Required for **4 Star and above** raids
* NOT required for 1-3 Star raids

## Raid Rewards & Drops

Raid pools have been **completely revamped**. Rewards vary based on the raid's star level and type:

* **🪙 Raid Tokens**: Primary currency for the Raid Shop
* **💎 Rare Items**: Evolution items, held items
* **🔮 Mega Stones**: Mega raids have a low chance to drop their Mega Stones, including form change items for Groudon & Kyogre!
* **🎨 Mega Tool Cosmetics**: Mega raids can also drop the new Mega Tool Cosmetics - **47 total to collect!**
* 🎁 **Exclusive Drops**: Special cosmetics and skin tokens on special occasions

## Shiny Rates & Golden Raids

All raids are affected by the **Shiny Charm**.

Raids have been rebalanced so that higher star tiers can no longer be one-shot in most cases. You'll need to use type advantages, debuffing moves, and solid strategy to excel in the 4 Star and above tiers. Hackmon moves and abilities have been removed from every build except 7 Star raids.
