# Pokedex
The Cobblemon Pokedex for all nine generations: where each Pokemon spawns, its levels and rarity, plus how the in-game Pokedex works.
**Quick answer:** The Cobblemon Pokedex on this wiki lists Pokemon from Gen 1 to Gen 9, with the biomes, levels and rarity of every spawn on Cobblemon Islands. Pick a generation below, or press `Ctrl + K` and type a Pokemon name. The in-game Pokedex is a separate item that you craft and carry. Checked against Cobblemon 1.8.2.
## How to find where a Pokemon spawns
1. Open the generation your Pokemon belongs to, or press `Ctrl + K` and type its name.
2. Open the Pokemon page.
3. Read the spawn tabs. Each tab gives the spawn type, rarity bucket, level range, weight, conditions and biomes.

## The in-game Pokedex
Cobblemon also has a Pokedex item. It comes in seven colours, and the recipes are on the [crafting recipes page](https://wiki.cobblemonislands.com/features/cobblemon-crafting-recipes#pokedex-colors). In Cobblemon 1.8.2 the in-game Pokedex can:
* Filter entries by All, Owned, Seen, Unregistered or Rideable.
* Search by species name, ability, move or drops.
* Switch between the National Pokedex and regional Pokedexes: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea and Hisui.
* Show the base stats, ride stats, drops, evolution tree and forms of each entry.
What is the difference between this Pokedex and the in-game Pokedex?
The in-game Pokedex tracks which Pokemon you have seen and owned. This wiki Pokedex tells you where each Pokemon spawns on Cobblemon Islands: the biomes, the level range, how rare it is and the conditions it needs.
How do I find a Pokemon fast?
Press `Ctrl + K` anywhere on the wiki and type the Pokemon name. The search jumps straight to its page.
