# Leaderboard

## Leaderboard

See how you stack up against the server's other anglers. Open the Fishing Leaderboards with:

```
/fish leaderboard
```

***

### Metrics

The Leaderboard tracks two metrics:

| Metric               | Description                               |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Most Fish Caught** | Total number of fish caught. |
| **Heaviest Fish** | The single heaviest fish weight recorded. |

Each metric has separate boards for:

* **This Week**
* **This Month**
* **All Time**

***

### Records

A new personal-best catch weight triggers a **personal best** message. This is for each individual fish, so the bigger the fish, the more respected you will be!

***

### Angler Profile

The **Angler Profile** button in Rod Setup provides a quick standing summary. It shows your top ranks across metrics and periods, level, species discovered, total catches, and heaviest catch.

See [Levelling](/features/fishing/levelling.md) for Angler Profile details.

### FAQ

<details>

<summary>Why isn't my catch showing up on the Leaderboard yet?</summary>

Leaderboard data is cached and refreshes periodically. A new catch can take a short time to appear.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens if I'm not in the Top 10?</summary>

Your rank and value still appear at the bottom of the board. Use them to track progress toward the top 10.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does the Leaderboard ever reset?</summary>

Weekly and Monthly boards track their rolling periods. The All Time board never resets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://wiki.cobblemonislands.com/features/fishing/leaderboard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
