# Deoxy's Event

## How do I start the Project Starfire quest?

### Starting the quest

To start the quest, speak to **Derpy** at coordinates `-11 61 20` in **HUB**

### Journey to Borakea Harbor

* Travel to **Sailor Shelly** near the burning ship at coordinates `-70 66 117` in HUB  &#x20;
* Shelly will offer you to travel to **Borakea Harbor** where the infection is taking place

### Investigating the Outbreak

1. You receive a call from an **Unknown Caller!**
2. Make your way to the Research Center.
3. After speaking to **Jordan Glass** (`1134 263 -109`) he will explain what happened and how he lost his Pokémon. He suggests you talk to Professor Palm.
4. Professor Palm (`1120 263 -134`) requests for you to collect samples to find out more about the infection.

### Collection Samples

**Objective:** Collect **500 Meteorite Samples** by defeating infected Pokémon

* Be cautious of **Team Aegis** operatives in the area.
* Samples drop from infected wild Pokémon.

### Another Unknown Caller

1. Once you finish collecting the samples, a new call on your Rotom Phone will appear!
2. Meet the Unknown caller at the coordinates provided, following the steps! (`844 260 -88`)
3. Battle **Aegis Grunt Mike Miles** to continue the investigation of the origin of the infection!
4. Once defeated, Mike reveals Team Aegis brought infected Pokémon from Ultra Space.
5. He directs you to take their rocket ship to pursue **Petrus**, board the **Rocket ship (G-Max Orbeetle)** at coordinates `1106 261 -119` to travel to the meteor in Ultra Space.

6. While in the ship beam, click the ship or surrounding area and you'll be prompted to travel to Ultra Space.&#x20;

### Meteor Outpost Operations

Professor Palm arrives in Ultra Space and, with the help of Nadia's Hoopa, created a research post there!

1. When you arrive in Ultra Space, you will receive a call from Professor Palm. Meet her at the outpost!
2. Professor Palm will introduce you to Nadia who is currently running a shop at the outpost.
3. Jordan Glass will inform you that he has found his Pokémon, but he has also been infected! Unfortunately, a cure hasn't been found yet...

### Collect more samples!

**Objective:** Collect **250 Meteorite Samples** from the meteor.

After collecting 250 samples, Professor Palm calls with good news that they found a cure for the infection!

Return to Professor Palm at the **Meteor Outpost**.&#x20;

In your conversation with Professor Palm, you discover:

* A cure has been successfully developed
* Petrus is behind the infection
* Nadia's Hoopa can open a portal to Petrus's location to get you there!

**Special Option: Teaching Dragon Ascent**

If you have a Rayquaza, Professor Palm can teach it **Dragon Ascent** and will gift you a **Mega Bracelet** (one-time reward).

* You can return to teach Dragon Ascent to multiple Rayquaza.

### The Battle with Petrus

After your conversation with Professor Palm, head towards Nadia's Hoopa to be transported to Petrus for the final battle.

After defeating Petrus, you will be on your final step to end the quest!

### End of the quest

Return to **Professor Palm** one final time at the Meteor Outpost.

She reveals:

* Jordan's Glalie has been cured thanks to your victory
* Petrus will likely return for a rematch...
* A special meteorite chunk was recovered from **Sailor Kevin**'s ship

**Visit Derpy once more at HUB to collect the mysterious meteorite!**

Meteorite Samples are the event currency used to purchase items from Nadia's shop at the Meteor Outpost.

Yes! You may battle Petrus every 12 hours, earning you a total of 5000 samples each time.

Yes, if you defeat both battles, you receive 2500 samples from the first battle and 2500 from the second battle.

<summary>What happens if I lose to Petrus?</summary>

You can attempt the battle again. There's no penalty for losing. The cooldown starts when you defeat him.

<summary>Does my party heal between Petrus's two battles?</summary>

Yes, your party is automatically healed between the first and second battle.

Make sure you've completed the previous step. The Unknown Caller appears automatically after taking 5 steps in Borakea Harbor, walking 10 blocks on the Meteor, etc.
